Specification: Street light luminaries are ISI marked k – IS:10322 part-5(section-3)/1987 with amendment no- 1 & 2 and comply with the requirements of 10322(part -5 )/sec-1 /1985 with amend. No. 1 & 2 IS 3383 part -2 /1992 with ammenment no-1( for photometric test).

Street light luminarie suitable for tubular hpsv lamps to IS: 9974 (part -1 with amendment no-1,2& 3 and part-2 with amendment no-1&2)/1981 complete with control gear suitable suitable for operation on 200-220-240v A.C. single phase 50Hz supply and to be used at a height of 8-15 meters.

Mounting: End mounting on GI pipe having 60--75 mm O.D. APPLICATIONS: Ideal for metropolitan street illumination requirements where regular maintenance is not feasible such as express ways, arterial routes & important city roads with high density traffic.

Luminaire: Comprises elegantly shaped single piece die cast aluminium housing in stove enamel grey finish from outside with a thickness of more then 2.5mm. A toughened glass of min. 4mmthickness is held in position by stainless steel toggles .The control gear compartment houses contains a copper wound ballast, power factor improvement capacitor electronic ignitor and mains connector. Provision is made for varying lamp positions to suit different installation parameters. A synthetic rubber gasket ensures high degree of ingress protection. This fitting have built in tilting arrangement of 0°-15° suitable for post top mounting.

Reflector - Precision Optics Tech (POT): Lamp compartment is fitted with a reflector known as 'pot' for light control in longitudunal and transverse direction. It is electrochemically brightened and anodised aluminium reflector of 1mm thickness for better uniformity and high optical efficiencyof more then 65%.

Maintenance: Glass cover can be hinged for lamp replacement by opening the toggles.
